This is a hand dyed Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) combed top. It has a predominantly black color with a number of spots of white. When spun, this colorway will produce a black with scattered grey tones.

BFL wool is a long and lustrous soft white wool. The yarn spun from this wool has a lovely sheen and can have a beautiful drape. It is well suited for spinning into yarn for knitting/crocheting next to skin items, even socks! 

Fiber width: ranges from 24-28 microns. Staple length: 120-160mm.

100% Blue Faced Leicester wool. Total weight approximately 100g.
